Block, filter, and written report messages on iPhone
In the Messages app 
, you can block unwanted letters, filter letters from unknown senders, and report spam or junk messages.
Cake messages from a specific person or number

In a Letters conversation, tap the proper name or number at the superlative of the conversation.

Whorl downwards, and so tap Block this Caller.
To view and manage your listing of blocked contacts and phone numbers, go to Settings 
> Messages > Blocked Contacts. Meet the Apple Support article Block telephone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Filter iMessage messages from unknown senders
Filtering messages from unknown senders turns off iMessage notifications from senders who aren't in your contacts and sorts the messages into the Unknown Senders tab in the Messages list.

Become to Settings
> Messages. -
Plow on Filter Unknown Senders.
Note: Yous canʼt open any links in a message from an unknown sender until you add the sender to your contacts or reply to the message.
Written report spam or junk messages
With iMessage, a message yous receive from someone who isn't saved in your contacts might be identified every bit possible spam or junk. Yous tin can report these messages to Apple.
In the bulletin, tap Report Junk, so tap Delete and Written report Junk.
The sender's data and the message are sent to Apple, and the bulletin is permanently deleted from your device.
Note: Reporting junk or spam doesn't prevent the sender from sending messages, only you can cake the number to stop receiving them.
To written report spam or junk messages you lot receive with SMS or MMS, contact your carrier.
